2009 Spring PNW Chapter gathering in Tukwila, Washington

(Narrated by Murff):

Thanks Jeff, for sharing your pictures. A good time was had by all! The location of this hotel was where we were hoping to have the 2010 ICCC convention. We are also pursuing other options.

My thanks to all that participated! Everytime we do one of these gatherings, it's a little different than the last ones. A vendor Brent, Scouter Jan and myself met at a swap meet last December brought all of his Coleman items to our gathering. George had some very nice items for sale.

Dave Dunbar, a former co-worker and now "professional" garage sale attendee also brought a large amount of Coleman items to sell. He must have done well because he made three trips to bring the stuff but only two trips when he left.
More Dave Dunbar's collection....
It was great seeing Steve Palmer! He brought some reporcelained vents he had done before moving! He sure does nice work!
Quest was there from Canada as were Scouter Jan and LP (Lloyd) and his wife Suzanne. Quicklite (Jules) nad his wife Judy came up from Oregon! Doug (Digger) Smith brought some nice items, like his arc lamp! Jeff Maier made two more absolutely gorgeous lanterns of his own design!
(*Here's Scouter Jan's table lamp and 500 series stove collections*)

Murff's 3 turds and a ted-turner *turd* collection....*smiles*

(Immediate-right): Mark Robert's collection which includes used/unwashed porcelain coffee mugs, Coleman belt buckles, clocks, and numerous quicklites...

Below: these are 2 crazy contraptions from our famed machinist Jeff Maier. The one on the left is the highest power lantern head, composed of 3 Northstar burner assembly and can be controlled individually as far as light output's concerned. I've been told that this munster guzzles gas like, say, 1 gal per hr? and can cast approx. 2000candle power output. To the right: this is his version of the famed "chicken coup" poultry lantern with clear lexan fuel tank assembly.Don't you wish there's a way to stencil "chickens that lay are chickens that pay" onto it's beautifully-crafted lexan body?

This is Murff's mason jar Coleman parts Cabinet...
And then we have Uncle Bob's modern parts cabinet.
Now, this is Cigar Mike's Gold Bond Collection...even with all the brochures and such to go along with....makes me wanna have one (*drool, drool*)
